A workshop under the Advantage Assam 2.0 initiative was held today at the Bodoland Administrative Staff College in Kokrajhar, focusing on accelerating investment and entrepreneurship across the four districts of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR)—Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, and Udalguri.
Cabinet Minister and Kokrajhar Guardian Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma attended the event, underscoring BTR’s vast investment opportunities. Describing Advantage Assam 2.0 as a crucial platform for entrepreneurs, he encouraged business owners to register and leverage government schemes designed to support both new ventures and business expansions.
Minister Brahma urged entrepreneurs to actively participate in the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit on February 25 and 26, emphasizing its role in unlocking new industrial growth opportunities. He further stated that such initiatives would solidify Assam’s reputation as India’s Emerging Growth Engine.
Expressing appreciation for Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma's leadership in spearheading industrial transformation, Brahma reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering an investor-friendly ecosystem in both BTR and Assam.
