Youth files FIR alleging assault by BJP youth leader in Guwahati

A youth has lodged an FIR at Latasil Police Station alleging that he was assaulted by BJP youth leader Abhilash Dutta following a road-related altercation in Guwahati.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred after the complainant's vehicle allegedly overtook Dutta's vehicle, leading to an altercation. The victim has accused Dutta of physically assaulting him over the incident.

The complainant further alleged that after the FIR was registered, Dutta threatened him with dire consequences, including death threats.

The FIR also states that Dutta allegedly introduces himself in public as a close associate of a young BJP MLA.

Police have registered the complaint and are expected to investigate the allegations. There was no immediate response from Abhilash Dutta regarding the accusations.
