Mizoram sends team of 15 participants for India Skills 2021 Regional Competition

AIZAWL: Lalramsanga Sailo, Secretary, Labour, Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department flagged off 15 participants from Mizoram for India Skills 2021 Regional Competition.

The India Skills 2021 Regional Competition is scheduled to be held in Patna, Bihar from October 20 - 23, 2021.

The state government had earlier conducted State Level Skills Competition under 12 different trades for India Skills 2021 Regional Competition.

The 15 candidates have been selected from that  State Level Skills Competition.

India Skills 2021 Regional Competition is one of the largest skills competitions, where there will be more than 1500 participants from different states and UTs.

Participants representing the state will participate in 11 different trades such as Bakery, Beauty Therapy, Hair Dressing, Electrical Installation, Welding, Carpentry, Fashion Technology, Painting & Decoration, Floristry, Hotel Reception, and Plumbing &and Heating.

The flag-off programme was held this morning at Transport Office, Chaltlang where Lalramsanga Sailo, Secretary, LESD&E, brifed a few words of motivation and wished all the participants success in the upcoming Regional Skill Competition.

K. Lalhmingliana, Director, LESDE, was also present at the flag-off and gave words of encouragement to the Mizoram participants.
