17-year-old Meghalaya girl found raped & murdered in jungle: Report

SHILLONG: In a shocking incident, the body of a 17-year-old schoolgirl, who went missing four days ago while heading to school in Dalu town of West Garo hills to appear for her Class X selection examinations, has been found in a jungle area in the Dimapara village of adjoining South Garo Hills early Saturday morning.

According to reports, the young victim is suspected to have been raped and murdered in a gruesome manner. Police are investigating the matter.
