MUMBAI: The Bombay High Court has hindered controversial movie critic Kamaal R Khan aka KRK from posting any defamatory tweets against producer Vashu Bhagnani on Thursday.

After the hearing of urgent relief petitions, Justice AK Menon came to the conclusion, "tweets do not refer to the contents of the film and very clearly refer to the plaintiff himself and the effect that plaintiff has in Bollywood. Several of these tweets are prima facie slanderous and actionable."

Till the suit gets disposed of, Justice Menon has hindered KRK from "publishing, circulating or repeating the allegations and tweets and videos."

Recently in a series of tweets, KRK made lots of allegations against Bhaganani and his production house -- such as Bhaganani being involved in illegal transactions like routing money from India to the USA along with actor Akshay Kumar.

Later, Vashu Bhagnani had moved High Court with a legal suit of seeking Rs. 1 crore for the damage KRK's tweets had caused, which were allegedly a "well-orchestrated smear campaign" against Bhagnani.

Bhagnani also accused KRK of trying to tarnish his reputation.

KRK is infamous for his remarks on Twitter and film reviews. He had also landed in trouble due to this. Earlier, Twitter had suspended his account twice for violating its rules.
