Mysuru: In a shocking development reported from Mysuru in Karnataka amid a surge in Covid-19 cases, police have busted a fake Remdesivir racket.

Mysore CCB Police unearth fake Remdesivir vaccine scam in the city.

A Case has been registered at Nazarabad police where a nurse called Girish was refilling the empty Remdesivir vaccine bottle with some other medicines. Girish used to sell that to Medical representatives Manjunath and Prashanth. Both Manjunath and Prashanth user to sell that fake Remdesivir vaccine at the exorbitant price.

Police seized some fake vaccines and few other medicines that were in their possession.

They also seized cash worth Rupees 2,82,000 from them, presumably made by selling the medicines.
