Manipur Information and Public Relations Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh has announced to launch flying doctors and helicopter service to cater to patients of far-flung areas.
He said this at a photo exhibition on “Saaf Niyat, Sahi Vikas” in Moriang.
The exhibition is on the four years’ achievement of NDA government, organised by Regional Outreach Bureau, Imphal, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
Singh said the government was focusing mainly on the youth as they are the future of the society. As it is impossible to provide white collar jobs to all, “start up policy” was launched for the educated unemployed youth to start up their own business.
