Gold bars seized, three held in Manipur

Imphal (Manipur), September 12, 2018:

A team of Civil Defence Organisation in Manipur seized three gold bars worth Rs.14.4 lakh and detained three persons in connection with the seizure on Tuesday.

The persons detained were identified as Telem Birjit Singh, Yumnam Ibohal Singh and Laishram Manihar Singh.

The team seized three gold bars weighing 498.2 grams along with a Force Traveller vehicle and four mobile handsets. Further investigation was on.
