Heroin worth over Rs 1 Crore seized in Mizoram's Champhai

AIZAWL: Assam Rifles troops recovered a huge amount of contraband heroin from Champhai district of Mizoram.

The contraband heroin was seized late yesterday night.

Based on a tip-off the Assam Rifles along with the Customs department Champhai conducted a joint operation and was able to recover  259 gms Heroin NO-4.

The approximate cost of the recovered heroin NO-4 is  Rs. 1,03,60,000/-

The recovered contraband heroin was later handed over to the Customs Department.
