Manipur: 6 months-old infant beats COVID, sets out for home with mother

A six month-old infant from Manipur who had contracted COVID-19 has managed to beat the deadly virus. After testing negative, the little COVID warrior has set out for his home with his mother.

IMPHAL: A six month-old infant from Manipur who had contracted COVID-19 has managed to beat the deadly virus. After testing negative, the little COVID warrior has set out for his home with his mother.

The infant was at Community Home Isolation centre of Heingang assembly constituency after testing positive for COVID-19.

In a video shared by Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, the mother of the infant said that she is really happy to see her child free from the clutches of COVID-19.

"I didn't know what to do when I found out that my child was positive for COVID-19. However, with the support from everyone here my child has finally recovered", said the mother.

Sharing the story of this little COVID warrior, the Chief Minister said, " Very heartwarming to see a six month old infant finally testing negative for covid after getting treated at teh Community Home Isolation Centre of my constituency".
