MANIPUR: GOLD BAR SEIZED IN MG AVENUE

The Anti Smuggling Unit of Customs Division seized 8 gold bars from two persons of foreign origin in MG Avenue, Imphal, on 2nd June at around 9 am. Sources said the gold bars weighing 1.32kgs are worth Rs 41.11lakhs. Further investigation is in process for the identification of the miscreants.
