Manipur officials apprehend suspected militant at Moreh district

Guwahati, February 9, 2019:

Today at around 06:30 am, based on specific information, a team of Moreh police personnel, along with a column of 43 Assam Rifles jawans immediately launched a mobile frisking and checking in Moreh bazar area and arrested one active cadre namely Mohammad Tajuddin Ibungo (33), a resident of Muslim Basti in Moreh’s ward no. 5.

He was actively involved in the transportation of arms, ammunition, grenades. A case will be registered in Moreh police station against the suspected militant.
