Nagaland: 5 held with 1,000 kg marijuana in Dimapur

DIMAPUR: In a joint operation, Security forces, along with police, apprehended five persons with 1,000 kg marijuana worth around Rs 4 crore at Kukidolong here on September 7, a defence release said on Saturday.

Based on a specific input, the security forces launched a joint operation with police and apprehended the five with the psychotropic substance. Four of the apprehended are from Senapati district of Manipur, the release said.

They, along with the recovered items, were handed over to Chumukedima police later.

Further investigation underway.
