Nagaland frontline worker infected by COVID-19; overall tally rises to 12,482

KOHIMA: Nagaland recorded 42 fresh COVID-19 cases, including a frontline worker, over the past 24 hours.. This has pushed the coronavirus tally in the state to 12,482.

The state currently has 121 active COVID-19 cases while 12,100 people have recovered from the disease.

Though no new COVID-19 death has been reported during the last 24 hours, death toll in the state stood at 94.

Meanwhile, 167 patients have migrated to other states.

Of the newly infected, 18 people have a travel history while 23 people have contracted the dreaded virus from other patients.
