NSF detects 44 people without ILP in Nagaland

Kohima (Nagaland), Aug 9, 2018

The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) claimed to have detected at least 44 persons who did not have Inner Line Permit during a special drive carried out by its activists in different parts of Nagaland on Wednesday.

The NSF assigned its volunteers in various check posts across five districts to check documents of non-locals, during which 44 persons were found not possessing ILPs.

The NSF stated that its objective was to make Nagaland free from illegal immigrants.

The State’s influential student body, however, added that its members were also taking steps to ensure that no genuine citizen of the country was harrased during the whole process.
