AGARTALA: The mother of Tripura royal scion Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma, Maharani Bibhu Kumari Devi has tested positive for COVID-19.
Bibhu Kumari Devi is currently being kept in home confinement in Kolkata.

Devi was a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) and entered the Tripura Legislative Assembly in 1983.
Bibhu Kumari Devi is a former Congress Member of Parliament who also served as the Revenue Minister of Tripura from 1989 to 1991.
