AIZAWL: In a tragic incident, a truck driver hailing from Assam was killed when a truck rolled down a hill and fell into a gorge in Mizoram today.
The accident occurred when an LPG cylinder carrying truck was passing by the Sathang River located between Tuirini and Seling area.

Although three persons were traveling the truck, the driver named Moin Uddin (26) hailing from Dholcherra in Assam became the only casualty and died on the spot. Luckily for the two others, they only sustained major injuries.
The Young Mizo Association (YMA) of Seling had taken the dead body of the driver to the YMA house and later sent it to his home village, reports said.
