TRUCKS SEIZED FOR CARRYING ILLEGAL WOOD LOGS IN SADIYA

Guwahati, December 10, 2018:

In a joint team operation of the security forces and the

Assam police seized two trucks loaded with illegally felt logs from Bishnupur

in Islampur Naka Point under Sadiya police station on Monday.

The team apprehended three persons in relation to the case.

According to official reports, the logs were transportedfrom Deopani Reserve Forest after felling them illegally without possessing anykind of documents.

From their possession, one .22 pistol have been recovered.
