As long as BJP in power, no eviction in Bodo Territorial Region, says Pijush Hazarika

State Cabinet Minister Pijush Hazarika attended the election campaign rally of the BJP alliance held in Chirang.

The campaign rally was held on behalf of Jayanta Basumatary who is the NDA candidate from Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.

However, Hazarika said that while the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) is spreading rumours that the Bharatiya Janata Party – United People’s Party Liberal (BJP-UPPL) coalition will evict people from Bodoland Territorial Region who do not get land titles, no one who has been living in the area for many years will be evicted as long as as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma are in power.

Meanwhile, the Congress will make a full century if the BPF scores a half-century after losing the elections.
