As the political battleground heats up in Assam, the state gears up for the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections slated for April 26. With a substantial Muslim population estimated at 65%, Karimganj presents a complex political landscape. Historically a Congress and AIUDF stronghold, the BJP managed to secure victory in 2019, leveraging support from Hindu and other voters. Silchar:
