BPF (Bodoland People's Front) leader Hagrama Mohilary conducted an election campaign in the Rabang Boro Market area of Koklabari.
The campaign was organised in support of BPF candidate Sougamchar Boro from the Koklabari constituency, with a helicopter used to reach the venue.
During the campaign speech, Hagrama Mohilary urged voters to cast their votes by presenting “the right pictures” instead of taking money from UPPL (United People's Party Liberal). In interactions with journalists, he refrained from commenting extensively but emphasised the importance of BPF governance in the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
Hagrama Mohilary stated that BTC requires a BPF government for its stability, warning that without it, the council could face destruction. He also promised that if BPF comes to power, land pattas would be provided to residents.
He dismissed Minister Ranjit Dass’s claim that the BJP would win 18 seats in BTC as a personal opinion and predicted that UPPL would be wiped out this time.
Responding to a question about Chief Candidate selection, she said that while BPF leaders may claim they are the “chief,” it is ultimately the people who will decide after September 26. When asked about Chandan Brahma, he declined to comment, stating she did not wish to mention any names. When questioned about the meaning of “Jamba,” he replied that it means “foolish.”
Hagrama Mohilary concluded her message by urging voters to support the party for BTC’s stability and development.
