Biopic on Assam’s golden girl Hima Das

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 16, 2018:

Filmmaker Reema Das will make a biopic on India’s latest sensation and Assam’s golden girl Hima Das. This was announced by the filmmaker, who recently received national award for her much-acclaimed move “Village Rockstar”, during a function held here on Thursday.

Hima became the first Indian athlete ever to win a gold medal at a world championship even when she won the 400-metre race at the IAAF World U-20 Championship in Tampere, Finland in July this year.
