Guwahati is set to witness an extraordinary cinematic extravaganza as the Northeast International Documentary and Film Festival (NIDFF) returns for its much-anticipated 3rd edition. Scheduled to take place from December 13 to 15, 2025, at the iconic Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio, NIDFF continues to be a prestigious platform that celebrates the art of storytelling through films while highlighting the diverse and rich cultural heritage of Northeast India.
Organized by Redcardinal Motion Pictures and AGCS Akhara Ghar Cine Society, the festival has cemented its place as a hub for filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts, offering them an opportunity for creative exchange and recognition.
The 3rd edition of NIDFF promises to be grander than ever, bringing together filmmakers from across the globe. Some of the key highlights include:

Submissions Now Open – Don’t Miss Out!
Filmmakers from around the world can now submit their work to NIDFF 2025. An early-bird discount is available for submissions made by June 30, 2025, while the final submission deadline is October 31, 2025.
