K-Pop sensation Kim Woojin enthralled the people of Nagaland at IMC Hall, Dimapur on October 27.
At Woojin's "The Moment Tour India" mini-concert, hundreds of young people attended and enthusiastically sung along to his songs as well as cover versions of songs by well-known musicians including Adele, Maroon 5, and Lewis Capaldi.
With the audience applauding, Woojin began the concert with "Ready Now," the lead single from his debut mini-album as a solo artist. The audience continued to shout "Woojin Woojin" and greet the performer in Korean while he played more than 25 songs.
In between the show, the 26-year-old said he was struck by how much his followers loved and passionately followed K-Pop music and culture. The crowd was crooning and enjoying the gloomy and melancholy music of Adele's "Easy on me" and Lewis Capaldi's "Before you go," while Maroon 5's hit song "Sugar" had the fans dancing along.
Prior to the short performance, devoted fans were invited to an exclusive fan meet where they could have a one-on-one Hi-Touch with the international artist and enjoy games and other goodies.
On October 23, Woojin kicked off his India trip by playing the main act at the "Road to Cherry Blossom Festival" in Delhi. His next stop will be Mumbai, where he will be the main attraction at the K-Wave event. On October 29, he will conclude his journey in Mumbai. Pink Box Entertainment, in collaboration with Musika as the production partner, arranged the fan meet and mini-concert in Dimapur.
