Arms recovered in Manipur

Imphal (Manipur), Aug 8, 2018

In a joint operation, personnel of Indian Army and Assam Rifles recovered arms and ammunition buried near a tree at Kumbi Seitapur under Kumbi police station in Manipur on Tuesday.

The recovered items include one Chinese hand grenade, IED along, one .303 rifle with one magazine, five pistols with five magazines, one revolver, 12 gelatine sticks, two detonators, wires, etc.

The recovered items were later handed over to Kumbi police station.
