Four suspected RPF/PLA, UNLF cadres arrested in separate operations in Manipur
Security forces and police arrested four suspected cadres of insurgent groups in separate operations in Manipur's Imphal West, Bishnupur and Kakching districts, officials said.

Security forces and police arrested four suspected cadres of insurgent groups in separate operations in Manipur's Imphal West, Bishnupur and Kakching districts, officials said.
On Thursday, a team of CDO-IW conducted a search operation at Sagolband Mabudhou Mantri Leikai in Imphal West and arrested 58-year-old Ningombam Ibomcha Meetei, alias Biramangol, from his residence. He was identified as a member of the Revolutionary People's Front (RPF)/People's Liberation Army (PLA), according to officials.
In another operation on Thursday, security forces arrested 49-year-old Ningthoujam Khema Meitei, alias Inao, from the Kakching Irumpal area under Kakching Police Station in Kakching district. He was identified as an active cadre of the RPF/PLA and is a resident of Ningthouta Chandon Pokpi in Bishnupur district.
Security forces also arrested another alleged active RPF/PLA cadre, 57-year-old Amom Ingocha Singh, alias Chumthang, from his residence at Wangoo Heinouyam Awang Leikai in Kakching district.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, a cadre of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF-Koireng), identified as 51-year-old Yumkhaibam Brojen of Sajirok Mayai Leikai in Imphal West, was arrested by CDO-BPR from his locality under Patsoi Police Station.
Officials said Brojen was allegedly involved in a kidnapping and shooting case.
Further investigation into the cases is underway.
