IED blast rocks Manipur’s East-Imphal on Republic Day

Guwahati, January 26, 2019:

In a shocking development, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast shook East Imphal of Manipur today. The incident took place at the BRTF camp under Lamphel Police Station.

Thankfully, no casualties have been reported.

It may be mentioned that the entire country is celebrating the 70th Republic Day. Unsurprisingly, these kinds of activities have created a sense of fear among the general public regarding the security measures afforded by the administration in the state.
