IMPHAL: In a noble gesture, Manipur Public Works Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh on Thursday visited the house of an elderly lady in his constituency Thongju to take stock of her health along with assuring medical assistance.
Taking to social media platform, the Singh wrote, "Pacified and encouraged her about her health and assured her of any medical assistance required for her treatment".
Singh informed that the lady has not been keeping well since a long time.
The Minister's gesture won hearts and the netizens were all in praises for him.
Later on Thursday, Singh attended the one-day political conference at Nongmada playground Lamlai Mandal.
He further addressed the public in attendance and reiterated again, the BJP's assured win in the upcoming state elections.
Earlier this week, Singh had also interacted with youths of Chadong new site village, Muirei, Mayophung and Ngarumphung and discussed various issued concerning employment opportunities, potential in tourism etc.
