Six cadres of extremist organization Kuki Liberation Front (KLF) surrendered to security forces with sophisticated arms. It surrendered 12 weapons which includes M-16(1 no ), AK Series Rfl. (04 nos. ), 7.62 SLR(No.TE 13102) (01 no.), Pt. 22 Rfl. (01 no), 12 Bore Rfl(No.16218)(03 nos.), 7.65 Pistol(No.A77374, A77375) (02 nos) .It also surrendered 12 nos. of Mag. which includes AK (05 nos), M-16(01 nos), 7.62 SLR(02 nos) , 7.65(04 nos), Pt. 22 Rifle ( 01)It also with 2 Chinese Gerenade. They surrended ammunition which totals to 546rds which includes 5.56mm(104 rds), 7.65mm(256 rds), 7.62mm(107rds), Pt. 22mm(44 rds), 12 Bore (11rds), 7.65(21rds), High Explosive(03rds). and 1 knewood Radio Set..
The cadres will be rehabilitated through the Revised Scheme for Surrender-cum-Rehabilitation of Militants in the North East(as amended in January, 2018) announced by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt.of India
