Manipur BJP MLAs hold key meeting with central leaders in Imphal amid call for popular govt

A crucial meeting between BJP MLAs and central party leaders B.L. Santosh and Sambit Patra began today at the BJP office, Thambal Shanglen, soon after the arrival of the two senior leaders in Imphal.
Almost all BJP MLAs attended the meeting, including State BJP President A. Sharda Devi, with only L. Rameshwor reported to be on leave, according to party sources.
Prominent attendees included former Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, Th. Satyabrata, Sapam Ranjan, Kh. Ibomcha, Th. Shyamkumar, Kh. Raghumani, Heikham Dingo, Kh. Joykishan, Karam Shyam, Th. Radheshyam, Y. Khemchand, P. Brojen, Usham Deben, Y. Radheshyam, Sapam Kunjakeshor, Th. Arun, Th. Robindro, K. Robindro, Acchab Uddin, K. Govindas, R.K. Imo, L. Sushindro, Th. Basanta, S. Rajen, Sanasam Premchandra, Th. Biswajit, S.S. Olish, Dingalung Gangmei, and S. Kebi.
Sources said the central leaders are expected to hold a separate round of discussions with Kuki MLAs later in the day.
The meeting is being viewed as significant amid ongoing political developments in Manipur and is expected to focus on strengthening party coordination and addressing recent state-level concerns.
