In a significant move toward inclusive governance and welfare outreach, the District Administration of Kangpokpi has announced the commencement of the “Dharti Aaba Abhiyan – Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps” from June 15 to June 30, 2025. The campaign is aimed at raising awareness and ensuring comprehensive coverage of government schemes among the most underserved tribal and remote populations of the district.
The drive will be conducted cluster-wise and will involve the coordinated efforts of District Level Officers (DLOs), various line departments, village authorities, youth clubs, and civil society organizations.
This grassroots initiative, rooted in the vision of equitable development, will provide eligible residents with direct access to services and on-the-spot enrollment for key welfare schemes related to healthcare, education, livelihoods, housing, and social security.
Key Implementation Highlights:
Mandatory participation of all DLOs with a directive to extend full cooperation.
Help desks to be set up by line departments, supported by mobilized field staff.
Widespread publicity through posters, banners, public announcements, and local media to ensure community engagement.
Village-level coordination through traditional authorities, youth groups, and NGOs to ensure smooth conduct of camps.
A cluster-wise schedule specifying venue details, timings, and nodal officers has been released for public reference.
Residents are encouraged to visit the nearest cluster camp to learn about and access various government schemes available to them. The district administration has called on all stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the initiative, which seeks to bridge service delivery gaps and promote citizen empowerment.
