Poster campaign against drug abuse held in Imphal East

A poster campaign against drug abuse was organised at Kongba Bazaar and Irilbung Bazaar under Imphal East, Manipur on August 16, spreading the message of a drug-free society.
 

The initiative was jointly conducted by Irilbung Police Station in association with the Welfare of Youths, Liberal and Conduct Organisation (WYLCO), Kongba, Irilbung Youth Club (IYC), Irilbung, and Nongmaiching Range Office.

As part of the drive, stickers bearing the message “QUIT DRUGS, CHOOSE LIFE” were pasted on vehicles moving along the Kongba–Ngariyan Road, while posters highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse were displayed on market walls.

The campaign also included a rally at both bazaars, where participants raised slogans such as “NO TO DRUGS, YES TO LIFE” to create public awareness and encourage collective action against substance abuse.
