Meghalaya reported one more COVID-19 positive on June 30th, 2020 taking the state’s total to 52, stated Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
The case, who has a travel history to Guwahati in Assam, was reported from Khliehriat.
Informing this, the CM tweeted:
Of the total 52 confirmed COVID-19 cases, nine are active cases and 42 have been cured and discharged while one died due to the infection.

Assam has the highest COVID-19 cases in the Northeast India followed by Tripura.

India recorded the highest-ever daily spike of 18,522 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the total tally to 5.66 lakh. The death toll is now 16,893, as per data released by the Union Health Ministry. Active cases in India stand at 2,15,125 while 3,34,822 have been cured or discharged so far.
Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross 6 thousand deaths. It has recorded 169883 corona cases with 88960 cured, 7610 deaths, and 73313 active cases. The western state is followed by Delhi and Tamil Nadu. Delhi has corona 85161 cases with 56235 cured, 2680 deaths, and 26246 active cases. Tamil Nadu has 86224 positive cases with 47749 cured, 1141 deaths 37334 active cases. Gujarat with 31938 COVID-19 cases, so far, has 23240 have been cured, 1827 deaths, and 6871 active cases.
