Foreign origin cigarette worth Rs 3 crore seized in Mizoram's Champhai

CHAMPHAI: At least 260 cases of foreign-origin cigarettes were seized along Myanmar bordering Champhai district in Mizoram.

Based on a tip-off troops of Assam Rifles along with the Customs department conducted a joint operation in the area and seized the illegal cigarettes.

According to sources, the approximate cost of the seized foreign-origin cigarettes is Rs. 3,38,00,000/-
