    At least four people died due to scrub typhus infection in Mizoram during 2017-2018. Three people died due to the scrub typhus infection in Aizawl district, while another one died in Mizoram-Tripura-Bangladesh border Mamit district. 540 people were found to be infected with the scrub typhus.
