Gold biscuits seized in Mizoram

Aizawl (Mizoram), Aug 24, 2018:

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence in Mizoram on Thursday seized 14 gold biscuits worth Rs.5.85 crore from Melthum in Aizawl.

According to an official, three persons, including two from Myanmar, were arrested in connection with the seizure of the gold. The arrested were identified as Laliapa and Biakliana of Myanmar while the other one, R Lalhmingmawia, belongs to Aizawl.
