KOHIMA: With the hullabaloo over the discovery of "fake diamonds" in Nagaland's Mon district yet to die down completely, another viral video has emerged from the State which has got netizens hooked again. In this new video, reportedly shot near the Ketsapo village under Phek district, the Naga village community can be seen pulling up a truck that fell off the road with ropes and the spirit of unity.

The video, credited to one Mmhonlumo Kikon, has gone viral for the villagers' unique technique to drag out the extremely heavy truck from a steep ditch. Although the Naga villagers' task was clearly made more difficult due to the unevenness of the terrain, they overcame this challenge by tying sturdy ropes to the body of the truck and pulling the numerous ropes at the same time.

In the viral video, the unified villagers, with great spirit and enthusiasm, can be seen tugging at the ropes -- which have been tied all over the truck -- until the truck finally resurfaces on the road.

A social media user who came upon the video described the video using the words "ants' power", which is quite apt, as ants in groups are known to move unfathomably large objects.

"Everything is possible when It comes to unity, great job be unity as always," wrote a Facebook user, reacting to the video, while another said, "This is what defines the Nagas when they come together. They can achieve the seemingly impossible."

After the video was uploaded on 'Naga Hills' a popular social media page, it racked up thousands of views, with users commending the Naga village folk for their unique inventiveness in the time of need.

Although it is yet to be ascertained when and where this video was shot, it has already spread a message of positivity, unity, and camaraderie in the initial stages of the New Year.
