Suspected NSCN-K cadre apprehended in Nagaland

Guwahati, February 23, 2019:

A team of the Zunheboto Battalion of Assam Rifles apprehended a suspected National Socialist Council Nagaland- Khaplang (NSCN-K) on Thursday while carrying out extortion activities from IOC Petrol Pump in Zunheboto, Nagaland.

The suspected cadre has been identified as Phukito Murry.

The team seized few extortion slips from the cadre’s possession and has been handed over to Zunheboto Police station for further investigation.
