Suspected NSCN-K Cadre apprehended at Nagaland

Guwahati, February 20, 2019:

Suspected National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Khaplang (NSCN-K) cadre has been apprehended from Mon Town in Nagaland on Monday by Mon Battalion of Assam Rifles.

The suspected NSCN-K cadre has been identified as Peter Konyak, alias Nalem Konyak.

The security personnel seized one 0.22mm Pistol and two 0.22mm live rounds cartridges.

The suspected cadre has been handed over to Mon Police for further investigation.
