Explosion at Pulgaon Central Ammunition Depot: 6 killed and 10 Injured

Guwahati, November 21, 2018:

In a shocking incident, an explosion took place at Pulgaon Central Ammunition Depot (CAD) on Tuesday taking the lives of six people and 10 casualties including four seriously injured.

The incident took place when the staffs of Ordnance Factory Khamaria, Jabalpur were unloading a consignment of discarded ammunition.

According to the locals, the blast took place in one of the ammunition boxes which was being unloaded in the demolition ground. The eyewitnesses also said that the intensity of the blast was too severe.

Ten other injured have been rushed to a government hospital in Sawangi, Dist Wardha.
