J&K | Man apprehended with grenade in Surankote Army Recruitment Rally

Poonch, March 11, 2019:

A man who had gone to attend a recruitment rally in Surankote, Poonch organized by Territorial Army was apprehended by Police along with a Grenade and other ammunition, sources have informed.

The accused has been identified as Rajinder Singh, a resident of Dhalyote Teh Kalakot of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

He was apprehended near Army Town Gate, Surankote and during a search, one C- 90 grenade, UBGL grenade, and Detonators were recovered from his possession.

A case has been registered at Surankote Police Station under relevant sections of the law and questioning of the accused is on.
