Security Forces Eliminate 2 Terrorists in J&K’s Bandipora

Kashmir, November 10, 2019:

The security forces on Monday gunned down two terrorists in an encounter at Bandipora in Jammu and Kashmir.

Reportedly, the encounter broke out on Sunday evening and went on for a considerable amount of time.

One terrorist was killed on Sunday during a gunfight between security forces in Lawdara village, about 55 km from Srinagar, while another was killed today, officials said.

A search operation was launched by the security forces at Bandipora in Lawdara village following specific information about the presence of some terrorists. During the search operation, an encounter broke out between the two groups.

The official sources said the hiding ultras opened fire on the security personnel, who were forced to retaliate.

The Chinar Corps-Indian Army released the information through a tweet which read, “#TerrorismFreeKashmir. ONE more terrorist (total TWO) eliminated in #OpLadoora (#Bandipora). Weapons & warlike stores recovered. Operation in progress #JihadNahiJahalat”

In another tweet, it quoted, “#TerrorismFreeKashmir. ONE terrorist eliminated in #OpLadoora (#Bandipora) in a joint operation. Op in progress #JihadNahiJahalat #CommonCausePeace”
