Amit Shah orders high-level probe into deadly nlast near Delhi’s Red Fort, eight reported dead

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday, November 10 evening confirmed that a powerful explosion occurred near Delhi’s historic Red Fort, leaving at least eight people dead and several others injured.
Speaking to the media, Home Minister Amit Shah said, “A blast took place in a Hyundai i20 car near the Red Fort in Delhi today at around 7 pm. Due to the blast, 3-4 vehicles were damaged, and people also got injured, and some died. As per hospital sources, eight people have died so far. Some of the injured are being treated here.”
He added that a comprehensive investigation has been launched with all possible angles being explored. “As soon as the blast was reported, the Delhi Police Special Cell, Crime Branch, NIA team, SPG team, and FSL experts arrived at the scene and are conducting investigations expeditiously,” Shah stated.
The Home Minister further informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi called him soon after the incident to obtain a briefing. “After receiving the call from the Prime Minister and taking preliminary information, I briefed him on the situation. I am now leaving for the site and will hold a meeting tomorrow morning with senior officials at the Home Ministry,” Shah said.
Authorities have cordoned off the area, and forensic experts are collecting evidence to determine the nature and cause of the blast. The government has assured the public that all investigative agencies are working jointly to uncover the truth behind the explosion at the earliest.
