In a dramatic rescue operation spanning 20 hours, a two-year-old boy trapped in a borewell in Karnataka's Lachyana village was safely brought to the surface on Thursday afternoon. The toddler, identified as Satvik Satish Mujagond, had fallen into the borewell and was heard crying inconsolably throughout the rescue operation.
