Indian Muslims will not be divided by Pakistan's propaganda: AIMIM chief Owaisi

All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday issued a strong rebuttal to Pakistan’s repeated references to India’s Muslim population while invoking the two-nation theory. Addressing reporters, Owaisi asserted that Indian Muslims have long rejected the ideology propounded by Mohammad Ali Jinnah and remain firmly committed to India's unity.

“Pakistan conveniently forgets that over 230 million Muslims live in India, and our forefathers categorically rejected the two-nation theory. We rejected Jinnah’s ideology, we accepted India as our homeland, and we will continue to stay here," Owaisi said.

He further accused Pakistan of attempting to stoke religious divisions within India. “Pakistan wants to divide India along religious lines and sow discord between Muslims, Hindus, and other communities. But we will not fall for this ploy,” he added.

Taking his criticism a step further, Owaisi questioned Islamabad's military actions against fellow Muslim nations. “If Pakistan genuinely believes in Muslim solidarity, why are they bombing Afghan and Iranian border posts? Afghans and Iranians are Muslims too,” he pointed out.

Owaisi alleged that Pakistan’s so-called commitment to Islam is merely a cover for its “illegal activities and promotion of terrorism.” He accused the Pakistani establishment of using religion as a facade while continuing its hostile agenda against India for the past 75 years.
