A shocking video emerged from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where a man named Manish, a skilled snake catcher, met a horrific fate while riding a bike. Manish was known for his expertise in handling venomous snakes, but tragedy struck when he attempted to handle a cobra.
The video, which has since gone viral, captures the moment when the serpent bit Manish. While riding pillion on his friend's bike, he had held the cobra with both hands, but his grip slipped, leading to the fatal bite. In the footage, Manish's friend is seen stopping the motorbike immediately after the incident. Despite an initial effort to stand up while holding the snake, Manish ultimately succumbed to the venom.
In a separate incident, a six-year-old boy, R. Shanmugavel, lost his life to a snake bite on his family's farmland in Sengundram village, near Gudiyattam town in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The young victim, a Class 1 student at a local private school, was bitten by a snake while gathering leaves from a curry leaf plant (karuvepillai) on the family's farmland around 6 p.m. on September 16 (Saturday). The family resides in a thatched house on the farmland, and when the boy failed to return home within the expected time, concerns were raised.
