Guwahati, January 11, 2020:

Tripura’s Priyanka Dasgupta has emerged as the next Gymnast icon after Dipa Karmakar as she clinches four gold medals in the artistic gymnastics in the Khelo India Youth Games 2020 held in Guwahati.

The sixteen-year-old has attributed her win to her idol Dipa Karmakar, who advised her to stay focused to her goal and concentrate on her performances. Priyanka’s win at the initial days of Khelo India has further become an inspiration for the ones from Tripura competing to make a mark at the Youth Games.
