Guwahati, May 25, 2019:

Tiluck Keisam (11 years old), a Limbo Skater from Manipur has attempted to set a new world record in Slalom Wave boarding with skates forward. Tiluck Keisam attempted for 5 laps with 90 cones.

Keisam is also a Guinness Book of World Records Holder, and Limca Book of Records holder as a Skater.

The gap between two cones is set at 1 meter, and the distance covered by him in a single run is (90x5= 450m) meters. He recorded the event in Srifort Sports Complex on May 20 and will submit a formal application to Limca and Guinness Book of record.

This is first of its kind and attempt by an Indian child.

Tiluck started this game since he was 4 years old and passionately playing it, there are many records on his feather. He used to practice for atleast 4 hrs daily, it’s a tough job for his parents as well to balance his study and game. He is now studying in Bluebells School International, New Delhi in Class-VI and also going very well in his study as well.

While asked about his future plan, Tiluck wanted to prepare to participate in Olympic and bring laurels for the country.

Tiluck Keisam attempted two events to register his name in the world record book, i.e. Longest Distance Slalom Waveboarding with Skates where the number of laps is 5 and total nos. of cones completed: 97x5 = 485m within 3 minutes 40 seconds. And the other one- Longest Distance Slalom Waveboarding where the number of laps is 40 and total nos. of cones completed: 97x40 = 3,880m.

Inspired by this Tiluck, another boy Dhairya Chowdhry who have started playing skating also attempted to set record in two events. One- Fastest Time Slalom Waveboarding with skates and the other is Fastest Time Slalom Waveboarding.
