I-League debutants Real Kashmir defeated Northeast side Shillong Lajong FC with a score of 6-1 in TRC Turf Ground in Kashmir, on Tuesday.
With their fourth consecutive win out of seven in their twelve I-League games, Kashmir moved to third position on the points table.
Kashmir’s goals were scored by Ghanaian forward Abednedo Kofi, who got scored a brace. Mason Robertson, Nagen Tamang, Gnohere Krizo and Surchandra Singh each scored a goal apiece. Samuel Lyngdoh got Shillong’s lone goal as the Meghalaya outfit remained in 10th place after eight games with just four points to show for their efforts so far.
