    CPI(M) LEADER ASSAULTED IN TRIPURA

    Guwahati, November 1, 2018:

    A Communist Party of India(Marxist) leader was assaulted allegedly by Bharatiya Janata Party supporters in front of Belonia Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office in South Tripura. Tapas Dutta was severely assaulted when he reached the SDM office for a meeting.

    An FIR was lodged at the local police station. However, no one has been arrested so far.
